ServSafe Food Handler

For servers, bussers, prep cooks, and other non-management staff. Covers basic food safety, hygiene, cross-contamination, and allergens. About 60–90 minutes, fully online.

Full-day in-person instruction followed by the proctored exam — same day, same location. Taught by a certified ServSafe instructor with a certified on-site proctor.

The Georgia Department of Public Health requires every food service establishment to have at least one Certified Food Safety Manager on staff. Failing to comply can result in failing inspection scores and potential closure.
